Simulation rate

Postby jimclarke » Thu Mar 13, 2008 10:38 pm

Is there a way I can make the sim rate default to X2 and not have to set it at the beginning of each flight?

In the cfg file it says  SIM_RATE=82,8  but I don't know what that means.

Thanks,

Jim

Save a flight with Sim rate as 2x and set it as default i belive. Why would you even want the sim rate to be 2x anyways? :-?

EDIT: Woops :-[ thought this was the FS 2004 section. Though if it is possible in CFS you might give it a try.

I like it 2X because the AI just seems sluggish to me.

Thanks and happy flying,

I'm not at my own PC right now (CFS not available) but I believe the SIM_RATE=82,8 refers to the key you have assigned to accessing the rate change function. I'm not currently aware of the defaulting location; I've changed the zoom rate at the game's start (particularly for assigning waypoint/scenery locations when making missions).
