CFS WWII Europe Series USAAF Mission Success Tip

Escape from Guyancourt, survival suggestions:


1. Takeoff FIRST and fast; you will be "rear-ended" if you do not.
2. Avoid Fuel Truck on Runway; seek right side of runway.
3. Takeoff and fly Runway heading as low as you are able, 0.2 km or below, also as fast as you can.
4. Continue this altitude until past incoming bf 109s.
5. Escort will join you and dispatch bandits.
6. Increase altitude as required for comfort.
7. Increase propeller pitch, reduce RPM, to conserve fuel.
8. Avoid temptation to "re-enter battle", friendlies will vanquish bandits. Your mission is to survive.
9. Fly home.

1. start up quickly, hold back throttle
2. watch to rear (right) while nudging throttle
3. as 109 to the rear right is catching you, push to full throttle
4. as 109 to the right is passing, apply right rudder (not too much)
