umm... hello first off. i am very new to this forum and i am a noob {dont laugh} but, i was wanting to know(actually this has prolly been asked one billion times) how to even go about making addons for this particular Flight sim. if it is free and somewhat easy i may actually make something cool!

Not without finding an available -- even then, usually not-so-free -- modeling program, most aptly AF99.
However, there are free editing programs for other features and most any program that works with bitmaps can rework the textures of available aircraft (just remember that they must be finalized in a 256-color format).
