So thats that I guess... I was searching for news on this(re-installed FS2002 today, and it got me thinking about the others CFS2,CFS3 which I may re-install tmmr),anyways I posted at Netwings about it, and then found the other thread here from last year regarding the same subject. Must say I'm sorry I missed the last weekend.
Did many show up I wonder ? Hope so.
So is it working all right on Hyperlobby ?? If so is there any other directions regarding the edit of the .ini
Other than what was in the otjher post?

There are a few playing on HyperLobby, after following the edit instructions in the other posts.
There were lots of people showed up for the last weekend including some names we hadn't seen for a while.
Due to MS's usual ineptitude we had several "last weekend's" and more showed up for the first of the series.

I know we flew at times together on the zone, but I have not flown CFS for almost 2 years (mainly FS9) so when I thought I would revisit the old times I was disapointed that the zone was finished. I was in a few squads before and I know some still operate, but I just want to play occasionaly and maybe meet some old friends. Is there still a place to go without joining IP games. I noticed you mentioned Hyperlobby and I saw the 'edit' which I wll try out, but is this the place? Lol or has everybody hung up their flying helmets?

Just one thing, I tried the edit on Hyperlobby but get the error message: 'Error Socket:11004 Valid name, no data record of requested type' Any ideas?
Forget it.......just connected.....

Hiya Milly,
That's the best I can offer at the moment.
Other options are still being investigated but, the longer it takes, the fewer people are left to fly I'm afraid.
Steer clear of Gamespy, loads of spyware/Adware. Took me ages to get rid of it.

This is infuriating! but Everything must go, I've played CFS1 for 5 years, and CFS2 for 3 years on and off.... now they are gone from the zone BAH! ~S~ To all the fine pilots of the CFS1 and 2 series! Cheers, Gunny
