CFS2 Henschel Hs129 B-3 The German Hs129 B-3 was designed for a close air support role, mainly anti-tank. It was well armored and equipped with a 75mm cannon; the BK7,5. However, it suffered from poor handling, underpowered engines, and a lack of pilot vision. Includes original panel. By Scott Smiel. 1.1MB

This is a CFS2 file.
I didn't use add-on aircraft so I don't know how to convert it to CFS1, but there must have been a way as there were a few who flew CFS2 aircraft in CFS1 online when it was hosted on the Zone.

The CFS2 Henschel Hs129 B-3 displays but, as is, errors in XP.

Check your PM, Tko.
[edit]I've just redone an .air file for the Hs129-3 and repainted the 'panel' folder's AA-Test.bmp corners with black. For a quick fix, import an .air file from another operable twin engine and rename it. Texture representations will still need help, though.

My .air file for it has been adjusted: this is not an aerobatic speedster, it's a tank with wings; don't expect to blitz and run (not that you're going to be doing any quick turnabouts, either). I used the provided CFS2 .air file for a basis but a number of parameters had to be changed or eliminated.
If you want to try the air file I've adjusted for CFS1 use, let me know.

Near the top left of this page, where it reads:

Hey, Tko, you have # messages.

click the # messages

Read my PM, click on the Reply at the lower right, provide one for me, then click the Send Message button (1st one at the bottom) to send it to me. I'm not trying to be insulting but, thus far, I've received no response from you to know if anything's gone through to you.

You tried what? Other than your post here, I've received nothing from you -- no response to my e-mail nor a PM (Personal Message). Try utilizing the PM; right now we're only wasting space in the forum.

I'm posting this here perchance it assists others besides tko. I've messed around with my CFS configuring enough that it may display things that others' won't. Nevertheless, the textures for the Hs129-3 should all be resized to 256 sq. pixels (some are but the important ones - fuselage, wings - are in 512x512).

CFS2 HS129-3 vamped for CFS1; however, I don't have it set up to display as an AI (unless you're playing as Wonder Woman with an invisible plane). Edit: AI version now operational as of July28, 2006, and I've inserted the correct px for Barbecue Tiger.

~S~ H,

Thats a nice looking plane.  :D
You mentioned converting it to CFS1 May I have a copy of the files you used to do that. I think it would go nice on my downloads page. I have someother rare planes there. I`ll even put a read me file in the zip giving you credit for the files you reworked.

Thanks Hank
