I have downloaded some files from the Simviation website from the CFS Aircraft and Missions section and when I tried to install them, by dragging and dropping them in the aircraft and missions folders, some of them would show up, but some of them would not. What happened? Is there another way to install them? I am a novice in this venture. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. - Thanks! - Skywarrior.

Everything applies in CFS1 as with CFS2 *. You seem to be doing it correctly. When pasting aircraft into the CFS1\Aircraft folder make sure they're not hidden inside another folder. This is a common cause of them not showing up. There is a CFS1 version of Paul Hauschildt's debug utility posted in the CFS1 sections. All campaigns vary so I can't be more specific without knowing which ones you have problems with. I don't have CFS1 installed right now to check anything out.

*PS. One difference. CFS1 does not have a limit to the number of installed aircraft.
