I tried to install helicopters in my CFS1 and they don't work, they show up in the " change aircraft " panel  then the program stop, am I missing a bell206 folder in the aircraft  folder? I do not have FS98,  the one from
FS2002 won't work,  I will welcome  suggestions

Try the Helicopter Base file posted here. http://www.simviation.com/cfs2misc1.htm It's compatible with either CFS1 or CFS2.

I'm surprised your helos display on the menu -  unless they have their own panel & sound files.

I did install this file (CFSBell206b.zip) and it works very
well, the helos  have their own panel and sound files.
