I am pretty sure that this problem was already dicussed in this forum, but I could not find the item again:
During missions some addon aircraft (mainly low level bombers) have the tendency to stop flying and continuing their business just sitting on the ground. Is there any other solution than going high or medium level?

Hi,
   Sometimes addon planes are great for being in a mission, already flying near the target.  Otherwise, if they are part of your group for take off, they may be incorrectly made at the AIR file section.  ie: to heavy, to slow to get take off speed, insufficient fuel etc.  I suggest you leave these lame ducks and find a few eagles to fly with.

Normally I would proceed like You suggested - but there are not so many Blenheims for CFS 1 out there. But may be I am just a purist.
