Yo Captain Bill,
Look in the FS98 download section of this site for civilan aircraft. CFS1 has a converter that will allow FS98 aircraft to fly within CFS1.

Guys. The CFS Converter should be installed by default. The fact that it's there allows almost any aircraft designed for FS98 to work in CFS1 by installing them in the usual way. No conversion is necessary. You might need to tweak the panel or sound CFG for them to show on the menu. Please read my Aliasing article.

:) Have downloaded Northwest BAE146 from Flight Sim 2000, though when loaded window panels on model not there. Also when scrolling round aircraft using S key the wheels appear disjointed with the fuselage otherwise ok to fly. >:(

Stargazer,
Only aircraft designed for FS98 will work properly in CFS1.

Hello Dennisc. Quite understand your point. Would love to have BAE 146, but can't find no download for this plane in FS98. So I will put up with the idiosyncracies of this plane. The Reeves turboprop works well and I feel one of the best planes downloaded. Looks good from the outside and the props are very effective especially when cutting engines. Instead of immediate stop they slow down gradually mimmicking proper prop planes. Also I like the Reeves because it is a commercial plane, albeit can fire rockets and guns plus drop bombs, a bit unorthodox, but a cool facility if wanted. Thanks for the reply, am new to forum communication. Have lots to learn. Can I take it that you are situated in America? The posting times are early morning, whereas I am resident in England. Hope to hear from you in near future.

Stargazer,
Yes, I do live in the U.S., on the west coast near Seattle Washington. And too bad you can't find a BAE 146 in FS98, but if your happy with the one you've got who am I to complain? The object is to enjoy your time flying. Have fun and good hunting!!

Thanks denishc for the reply. Perhaps commercial planes will be designed for CFS1 I don't know, although I presume a bit unorthodox for a combat simulator, but I find Microsoft 2000 and 2002 over here in England is a bit pricey and with the add-ons you are looking at
