Stall Problem

Postby Gladiator2003 » Sun Mar 02, 2003 10:55 am

For some reason, right in the middle of my flights, my aircraft stalls, and I am stuck in a nose dive position. I am frozen in the air. When I go to the spot plane view I see my aircraft going straight for the ground, but is not moving. The fight continues on around me.
What can I do to stop this from happening?

Thanks

Gladiator what OS are you running?
Also does this happen to all aircraft?
Make sure you have your anti-virus software and firewalls off, as sometimes they can cause problems (in XP at any rate).

It's possible to get into an exaggerated "deep stall" with some 3rd party aircraft. This is a bug in CFS1 & more noticeable with some helos. There's often no way to recover & only solution is to quit the flight & start again. To prevent it happening watch your speed & don't attempt to climb/turn too steeply.
