Corsica scenery problems

Postby Chriscgtp51 » Wed Jun 04, 2003 3:04 pm

I have installed Med Beaufighter campaign but can't take off from the Corsican airfield Ghisonacia, plane explodes before start up  ??? not even in freeflight. >:(
Must I change the classlist bgl ? water to bumpy grass ?
or can it be a mission file problem.
Please Help.

I don't know this campaign but think it's likely to be the Classlist.bgl. If you have problems doing it yourself there's a ready modified version included with my USS Essex carrier here. http://www.simviation.com/cfs1scenery8.htm
It won't do any harm & you will be able to land on the water without exploding. Please try it & tell me if that fixed it.

Looks like a scenery problem  >:( the file I d/loaded (cryingtoto's) txt  says install in texture/all  ??? bgl scenery files in texture  ???  never have seen that before. Must be a typing error. Is there other Corsica scenery that i can try ?  Thanks ;)

>:( I suggest you look to the player aircraft for the blame.
Sounds like an old FS Beaufighter you are trying to fly?

To prove the mission is OK, change the player aircraft to something that you know is OK;  any CFS plane will do.
Then if the mission plays OK you know it's the plane's fault.

Have you contacted the mission/campaign author ?
That should be your first step as he would have been informed by others with the same problem.

Any probs drop me an e-mail.

Cheers
