I need your help again.
Loaded the Bridge Too Far campaign with all subsequent mods. Found and loaded the Mosquito files 'mosbiv.zip - mosgfb2.zip' using JAB2000.
TWO errors:
1. The first error on starting the campaign is; "visual model could not be displayed" MOSQUITO FB VI YHY.
This relates to an error log message as follows;
[Mission file error]
error=Unable to Init Unit 1000
title=ABTF 0 - Mosquitoes Over Willems Barracks
filename=CAMPAIGNS\ABTF0
2. I installed the files 'mosbiv.zip' and mosqfb2.zip' manually then also using JAB2000 [after removing the first manual install]. Also when installing the 'ZIP' file in JAB2000 there were several error messages relating to 'gauges' for 'spitfire_mki.* and hurricane_1.* gauges. I checked the 'panel.cfg' file for the mosquitos and they both require 'spitfire_mk1* and hurricane_1* gauges. However the 'ZIP' files only supplies gauges generic to the mosquito panel. All these gauges were loaded correctly.
3. In free flight both 'FB' models of the mosquito are avaliable for selection but will not initiate or show a picture of the plane, bringing up the same error as 1 above.
4. I did a bit of investigation and found that the 'panel and model' files did not match the 'aircraft.cgf' file as in other planes that fly OK.
The aircraft.cfg file lists two planes for the mosqbiv and mosqfb2 the AI and Flyable plane but the model.mdl file for the YHY flyable plane does not match the aircraft.cfg file names, ie
MOSQBF2 = Mosquito FB VI YHY
aircraft.cfg = mosqfb2

texture=

Model= two avaliable
_____
1. mosqai
2. test_5
Texture = two avaliable
1. TEXT_5
2. test_5
I am not sure if this is the problem with the Mosquito but I thought that the 'sim' name in the 'aircraft.cfg' file should match the model and texture files 'cfg' file names respectively?
If you can help with these errors I would appreciate it.
With thanks for your help, regards,
Keith Harris
