Thanks, the bare metal repaint is by Tom Weiss and the repaint from the 1941 film is by Tejon Stanley.

thanks dave!! nice gift from a2a.....and what a great texture......
when i was a kid i went to the movies on friday nite in a church basement and they always ended with a serial, and one had a p40, where the bad guy put acid paste on the control cables, and the hero took off and of course, lost control....which ended, and you had to wait till next week to find out....was in b&w i think.....funny, i never sat with the others....always stood next to the piano on the side of the room the whole night.............

p40 sits on the runway with a bent prop.....tried to figure out the start sequence, with you tube help, but no luck....i guess this plane can't be flown off the cuff??.....and if i change aircraft while flying, it won't work.....hmmmmm......

Go to the maintenance hangar shift+7 and click on overhaul and it should reset the aircraft. Start up procedure can be found in the p40 manual on page 32. Manual can be found in the A2a folder which is located in the FSX main folder or from the start menu a2a simulations/wings of power 3 p40. The start procedure is not that difficult but the inertia starter can be a bit tricky.
