Good one! 2¼ hours. You must have been almost running on air. ;)

Thanks, had a third of my fuel left even skirting Heathrows airspace. Cruised at 1900rpm 75mph at 4500ft full rich.
My longest flight in the Moth was VTSN to VDSV cruised at 9000ft mix leaned and around 1950rpm finished up landing with 1.8g of fuel remaining.

Normal flight safe duration according to the 1944 Moth pilot notes manual is 2½hrs.

Need to try a few other aerobatic maneuvers other than a loop.
Speeds from the pilots notes manual

Inverted gliding?
Sounds a bit dangerous to me in a Moth.
