I can see you have taken the time to re-adjust your graphic options. The picture quality has definitely increased compared to your first topic from yesterday !
Bowerman is still one of my favorite places to fly.
If you have OrbX PNW, I'd recommend you to fly North, up to the northen coast of the Olympic peninsula, to find and land at Sekiu 11S. A small strip on the side of the hill, very scenic, even with the default PNW version :) (there is also a payware for it, but I never bought it)

Bowerman is also nice for testing some jets sometimes, because the runway is quite large. It is a bit short, making the landings a bit challenging, to say the least :D
But when flying the small and slow aircraft in PNW, I spend most of my time flying between Concrete Mun (3W5) and Darrington Mun (1S2). Sometimes, for a longer flight, I also depart from Pemberton CYPS and fly south down the valleys to reach the Hope area. From there, I can also follow some long valleys to get back in the Concrete area :)

Thanks Anthin...your comments are always most appreciated...

I think this could be a fun machine if light floats were put on it...or even winter skis... <<u

Just got my monthly newsletter from Wipaire Aviation....they actually have some nice light floats and I would imagine amphibious floats also.

Stephane (Daube)...as always your advice and comments are always most appreciated...

Going to try your suggested area tonight or tomorrow....Old Girl has me busy shortly....

Couple of questions when you get the time:
FRAPs shows 26....Have read several topics where people post that the Frame Rates should be at Maximum...others over 60
Having mine set at 26 and getting 26 I don't know increasing the Frame Rates will make things any better.

Sliders are not maxed out but things seem to look good right now...don't think I should change them.

I set the Nvidia Profiler to Microsoft Flight Sim 10 and hit Apply
It does not seem to stay there because when I check after shutting down the Flight Simulator it had gone to another setting...probably default but don't know

Do you think this needs to be set prior to starting FSX every time or are the settings automatically saved to FSX :?:

Again much appreciated for your time... ;)

Hi Doug,

For the frame rate limit in the settings, it's up to your experience in fact.
If your computer can maintain these 26 FPS all the time, and that value is comfortable for your eyes, then I think you do not need to alter it.
You can reconsider this only if you face a situation (scenery or plane) which brings the FPS below that value. In that case, you might want to give a try to unlimited FPS... but this may cause some ground blurries, if you fly too fast ;)

Concerning the rest of the settings, should be ok, although I don't remember the FSX constraints so well anymore. If the sim looks fine for you (and it looks quite fine for now in these shots), then don't modify anything.

Concerning NVidia Inspector, you do not need to "set" a profile.
Each sim/game has its own profile. It is up to the NVidia driver to select that profile depending on what is running.
NVidia Inspector simply allows you to edit a profile (or create a new one for a game that didn't have one), but you don't "select" it, so to say. It gets selected automatically by the driver when a game is launched.
