Grassroots Bugsmashing

Goodly evening All... <<q

Old Girl gave me some time OFF for good behavior...so...I indulged in a hour or so of Simulated Grassroots Bugsmashing...

Microsoft FSX Deluxe + Acceleration and Windows 10
Some Orbx Sceneries and Locations
Orbx Israel's Farm "WA56" was used for the touch and goes along with the Departures and Arrival
As you will see I used several grass strips which made the close in circuit interesting

Flight Replicas Super Cub with Tundra Tires was the bugsmasher of choice
I found it difficult to get good shots as this simulated model has a set Fuselage Facing Forward View

Now my personal opinion after looking at these shots I should have used the Spot (think that is what it is) View for the 6th shot.
Shots 4, 5 & 6 are of the approach but the aircraft angle (shot) is the same making the sequence boring or repetitive.

Runway above and below starboard wing is Israel's Farm "WA56"...Washington State, United States
Not sure what or if that is an actual grass strip above the port wing and does not show on the GPS
Lots of fun to land on and took me too the last location of the last shot
Image

Both aircraft are in the last shot

Another simulated aircraft tucked away off WA56
Image

Approach to WA56...trees can be a problem along with the wind and turbulence setting (had to lower both the wind speed and turbulence setting in REX + Overdrive)
Image

Making a slight correction...not really as much as it looks

Room to land a Boeing

Landed on other grass strip and taxied to this location with window open

Comments and Advice most welcome... ;)

Some great shots there Doug, I quite like all of them, for me number 4 is the stand out picture.     It's a lovely part of the world.

Good morning Rich... <<v

Yes Number Four seems to be the pick of the lot for me as well...

I am still trying to convey the feeling of being right there in the aircraft to the viewer...

Have not been able to do that yet...

Practice makes perfect though...

Thanks for your reply... ;)

Know what you mean Doug and there's no easy answer. I'm never happy with what my shots, especially when compared to other pictures we seen on here.

Cheers
Rich
