Southern California for P3d V4 was added without any notice by FTX Central 3.

Just a very brief flight.

The fog was starting to move in on parts of San Fran.

Thanks, Dave. Your shots are always better than mine, though. :D

I tend to get the most excited about the view distances that are now available in P3d V4.

You can now see trees and other fine detail all around you.

Scenery "popping" into view occurs much less often, I suppose because it happens far away from your immediate area.

And as you can see in this picture, the lights fade WAY off into the distance.

You don't have to use the extra distance available for the trees, clouds, and other details if you don't want to

Tecnam P2006T
The Tecnam P2006T is an Italian high-winged, twin-engined all-metal light aircraft built by Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam, which is based in Capua, Italy (near Naples). Certified in the European Union by EASA under CS23, the P2006T received Federal Aviation Administration FAR Part 23 certification in 2010.[3]

The P2006T is the lightest twin-engined certified aircraft available, and is a four-seat aircraft with fully retractable landing gear and liquid-cooled Rotax engines that can run on 92 octane unleaded automotive gasoline as well as 100LL.

I like:
The way it looks.
It's a modern small light aircraft with instruments instead of a "glass cockpit".
It handles really well, both on the ground and in the air.
It sounds good. :D

Smog has been made illegal in Californication.

That is a marijuana cloud. It's provided free of charge to every citizen.

The governor has been a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time advocate.

Love the techam. I haven't tried it in V4 yet. Does it work ok?

This aircraft is well worth the money. My go to aircraft for scenic flights.

If there's any problem with the Tecnam P2006T and P3d V4 I haven't found it.

I think that the P2006T that this was modeled after was an earlier version. According to the P2006T wiki page the top speed should be faster. Luckily, that's easy to correct with a little trial & error.

The number of aircraft that are not compatible is what makes me unwilling to buy more at this time.

I's my hunch that many aircraft are made with contracted help. Once the publisher agrees with the final product, the designer's contract is completed.

You end up with much scenery and many aircraft that will NEVER be updated. Personally, although I don't buy many aircraft, I do have some that are over 3 - 4 years old that have never been updated in any significant way.

Thanks for your reply. As I said I love this airplane and can't wait to load it.

I am hesitant about loading anything not captions V4 compatible. I got burned once wit a freeware scenery and won't do it again.

Thanks again,
Bob
