East of Yosemite Valley

Postby OldAirmail » Tue Jun 20, 2017 9:56 pm

The new higher details scenery in the 64bit version in Prepar3d is amazing.

Most of the Orbx scenery hasn't been released yet, which makes it even more amazing.

This trip started from O24, Lee Vining CA.

Being in a little Cub you naturally have to fly the valleys in the southern Rockies. And THAT is a very good thing.

These pictures cover only a little part of the trip west from Mono Lake.

Sorry for the old cliché, but this really is a game changer. For those who don't want Prepar3d, I'd start showing interest, by buying, the 64bit BETA version from Dovetail Games.

Needless to say, this scenery is FAR better in the screen in front of you, as you fly, than the picture of that scenery is.

Notice how the trees in the distance improves the feeling of being there?

Welllllll.....

Alvin and the chipmunks went into the stew with Rocky the flying squirrel. Alvin wasa little stringy, to tell the truth.

The snake? Well this is all that's left of him.

We could do with a couple of million snake skin
belts down here. :o

I wonder if you could make belts out of a lot
of funnel web spiders,Redback spiders,Cassowaries,
dive bombing Magpies,Crocks,Great whites? :naughty:

Not to mention, fanatical Aussie rules football fans. :angry-screaming:
