Very nice Jan...very nice...

We were watching a Documentary last night which featured Sir Winston Churchill arriving at a conference somewhere after "D Day"...

He arrived in a captured Fieseler Storch in RAF Livery.

Australia indeed, trying to pass for North Africa...

Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Sorry to butt in, but this was the very first aircraft that I paid for. :D

I've been interested in the Storch ever sense reading about the rescue of Mussolini in WWII.

I've gone so far as to find the actual location, and with the assistance of Plan-G, made the trip.

As to using the Fieseler Storch for the Casablanca Conference, I can easily believe that getting Churchill into that plane was far easier than getting him into the British counterpart, the Westland Lysander.

The Westland Lysander, I think, is a far better STOL plane in many different ways. But I'll always like the Storch better.

At any rate, if you have the Storch, then you NEED the Lysander.

On that point, we're all in luck with a free Simviation download - Westland Lysander Package. This is a great download with little, if any, need for apologies.

If your African scenery elevations don't look like that, and it probably doesn't, than you need FreeMeshX. Ground textures are Orbx.

I've used FreeMeshX in both FSX & Prepar3d. I primarily use the Orbx scenery system, and a lot of the Blue Sky Scenery, with almost no elevation problems.
