Stolen Aircraft !!

Postby Jetranger » Tue Dec 16, 2014 2:32 am

Yip - I Stole this Aircraft !!

from where ????

From Carenado thru Sim Market , and for a measly $6.00 US Dollars too.

Was on Sale for $8.99 , and with the Discount I had coming thru Sim Market I got this $30.00 regular priced Rockwell Commander for a mere $6.00 bucks,

that was my Christmas Present to myself this year.

Then I went and found bout' another 17 re-paints for it and added those to the files.

Heres a few Shots.

Nice! It's a great all round understated GA aircraft.

Quick HU: Someone posted a 114 Turbo conversion for the Carenado 114, which is said to have Carenado's blessing.

You can either convert your existing 114 into a 114T, or create a whole new aeroplane to end up with the stock 114 and a 114T.

Can't remember which site it was one, but no doubt it was one of the other major FS sites.

Ya, I tried that Turbo file conversion, and for some reason the file messes with my Aircraft Textures, made em' see thru ?????

so I just keep it fairly stock, tho I gave it a we bit more power editing the Aircraft CFG File permiters.

it'll fly bout 175 mph, now.

thanks anyway.

No worries, I've not yet tried the Turbo conversion.
Nice aircraft either way.

Guess I'll be headed back to PC Aviator. I already bought the C185 Bush, C206 Utility, and 172 Skis and Floats while the holiday sale is going on. I should've gotten that 114 instead of the 206. I've flown it on a buddy's system, and its a great model. I guess I was in WARNING: OVERLOAD mode and completely overlooked that offering.

I already have Alabeo's 207, so it was kind of redundant to get a buncha more high wing Cessnas, in hind sight. I also already had the 182RG, Seneca II, and C208EX.

I am gonna get that PA-46 too, and either the Malibu JetProp or the TBM, I haven't decided which.

Well, the V-tail it is. I ran back a few minutes ago before the sale ends and bought the V35. Downloading it now.

I got quite the haul this Carenado sale. Five airplanes for less than $30.

I have a hangar. Its a pitiful little "T" structure, but its at my "home" on FSX. This runway doesn't have an ICAO, its just a dirt road across a field that is native polygon/autogen with an IS3 dirt road runway, a few additional structures, and a nearby water tower like we have here so I can spot the runway a little easier. Its a few miles east-southeast of KFYM, and its within a 1/4 mile of where my actual house is, and on what is part of my real world farm homeplace. My house isnt on my FSX scenery, but I do have a few structures scattered around on it, and it is a working farm in FSX.

This is my favorite paint, out of the ones that came with the model, and maybe out of all of them period. It looks great with the tip tanks.

This was an original repaint, but UK registered. I used DXTBMP to use MSPaint to reregister it for my son, with his b-day and initials, and no tip tanks, and "his" flight that is saved now has this airplane on it.

A few more repaints I picked up off the web, mostly off those great guys at that Aussie site.

Pretty good flying model, about like most Carenados, fairly forgiving, pretty close on performance specs with the 285hp IO-520. My understanding is that this is the same flight model that the F33 Bonanza from Carenado has. I added the engine damage mod gauge/effects, freeware and available here on SimV. http://simviation.com/1/download-file?file=Carenado_V35B_Damage_Mod_V1-1.zip&fileId=39520 and update http://simviation.com/1/download-file?file=Carenado_V35B_Damage_Mod_V1_UPDATE.zip&fileId=39539

These shots are all from FSX-G, not the new SE install I have, because I haven't activated hardly any scenery in SE except some BC and AK dirt strips. I did install this airplane on both editions.
