Back to parking

Postby Daube » Mon Mar 31, 2014 8:29 am

Hi all,

It's been a while. I'm not launching FSX so often anymore, because of P3D. And P3D being quite unstable, I mostly do short tests, and no real flights anymore :/
However, Accusim is quite an addictive drug, and it's hard to keep away from it for too long. Obviously, I had to relaunch FSX to make a quick test flight around Bowerman. Missed that so much, to be honnest :)

This is just the military P-51 Mustang with Accusim from A2A, returning to parking on Bowerman from OrbX (FTX PNW).
Additionnaly, I'm using Shade, the REX ENB "Sunlight" mod, and the alternative envmap textures from Bob Rivera for the shiny metal 8-)

..there you go, Steph.... ;) .....

..it just goes to show that there's not a lot wrong with FSX!.... :D ...!

.....and lots of wonderful, shiny aluminium.... ...!

Excellent shots!

Paul.... ...!

P.S...I looked at the U-Tube demo videos of "Shade", and it seemed to make the scenery much too dark and gloomy for me, whereas I am trying to "brighten up" all my daytime scenery! The ENB Series effect seems to work better for me!

Sore point with me right now is a Mustang. I heard the unmistakeable sound of a Merlin Saturday afternoon getting louder and louder. Tried front and back steps still couldn't see. Leaned over the sundeck rail backwards and ended up in hospital. Never did see the offending 'plane. Friend came to visit Sunday and said "Did you see that Mustang . . . wow!" He didn't stay long. I'll be out tomorrow in a cast and a wheelchair.

logjam...don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Hope you lose the cast with summer just around the corner.

Take care when you get home, stay off the deck and don't listen for any more aeroplanes....
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
