Stephane you were right...

Good afternoon all... :)

Stephane I set both cloud settings and the water setting in REX2 to 512.
The Frame Rates in FSX are set at 30.

One other problem...you need to come and get me out of jail.  The Military Police have no humour when it comes to buzzing and doing aerobatics over their airfield... :o      ::)

FSX and Windows 7
ORBX weather and scenery
REX 2...Theme...my own settings
Location:  Beautiful British Columbia
Aircraft:   Ant's Tiger Moth
Season:   Summer....early morning

Beautiful British Columbia morning over Canadian Forces Base (Royal Canadian Air Force Station) Comox

Tiger in the puffy wuffies...

Where are those Brylcreem College Boy's???
Image

Seems those suck and blow F18s do not want to come up and play...

Approaching their airfield off the water... ;D

Comments and advice most welcome... ;)

You need to install FShostclient and come onto the simviation server, will be fun, maybe some formation flying in the tiger?Fozzer is useless for that for 2 reasons:
He doesn't fly anything aerobatic. ;D
FS9 users have jittery aircraft in FShost, weird issue.

Nice. First 3 shots totally brilliant., although i feel the orbx maybe lets down the last ones.....i know that maybe harsh but just what i see. Its not maybe the scenery its the 'blockiness' of the edge of the airfield, and the big blurry bits in the last shot.

Even though the scenery is in the shot in the second, you've cleverly shown it at its best by the angle!!

The angles and views are spot on however, despite my critique!  :D

Ah it seems that now you're getting much more stable performance and smoother flight ! Good to see that :)
Of course, the clouds don't look as crisp as before, this is a fact. However, this is problematic only when the clouds are very near. In normal distances, they look good enough ;)

For the water, I didn't know that you had a choice of resolution for it too. Interesting...
Don't hesitate to make more tests to see how your computer reacts, and of course to see how you like it. Perhaps the water textures can be kept at 1024 instead of 512 ? But it looks quite good in this shots, anyways.

As for the jail, don't worry, they have internet connections there too, now

Thanks Stephane... :)

I think the settings will remain the same for awhile just until I see how it works out.

Most of the time I use a float plane or amphibian so will need to experiment there also.

Much appreciated for your time and patience... ;)
