Carenado's New Malibu JetProp!

I've been excited for this one for a while, and it's out!  A huge step forward for Carenado, easily features their most advanced avionics yet.  I can't wait to see where they go from here.  (jetsjetsjetsjetsjets...PLEASE)

Anyways, here's some shots, followed by some thoughts

Not much needs to be said besides 'CARENADO'.  Flawless exterior, beautiful textures, unbeatable sound, practically no FPS hit, lots of documentation....it's a Carenado plane, and one with a turboprop (yay!) and Garmin G500 avionics (YAY!)

This virtual cockpit is easily Carenado's best, if not THE best available!  I mean, the Flight1 Mustang cockpit is accurate and great, and I know PMDG is supposed to be insanely good, but this is FANTASTIC!  The textures are amazing, the detail is incredible! (There is a sticker in the window identifying the windows manufacturer and serial number...!)  Window shades close, tables unfold, its just...amazing.  I know I'm not being a great critic with all this seemingly biased praise, but DAMN, it's good

Of course, what has really set carenado apart lately is their night lighting.  This one is so real looking it's unreal

And the landing lights are indescribable, I have no idea how they got them to look so good, but I love it!

This one's a bit pricey at $38, but it's worth it.  Performance wise, the plane is a nice bridge between a Cessna 210 or 337 and a King Air/Cessna Mustang.  Cruises in the upper 180's at 16000 feet easily, but I need to explore the flight envelope some more.  Handles very smooth, not jumpy like some other Pipers or the Beechcraft singles, and is very easy to fly.  The avionics are more complex than what you may be used to, but all in all pretty simple to operate.

So, if you want something a bit different from what's out there now that's a good gap bridging-performer, buy it!

Of course, you probably will regardless.  It's Carenado ;)

If there's anything you'd like to see or any questions you have, let me know

Dang Jake, nice find! I think seeing this bad girl has finally kicked me over the edge, I need some payware planes (yes plural).
This plane is exactly why my wife says I look at 'plane porn' when I stare at pictures of planes like this!
