HDE Clouds
3D Lights
Location: Griffith Island "CNG4"...Ontario, Canada
Scenery:  Freeware from Home of Flight Ontario
Aircraft:   Payware Aerosoft DeHavilland of Canada
               DHC-2 "Beaver" on wheel/skis
Season...Winter...early morning

Ultimate Terrain X Canada...Installed
Ground Environment X USA Canada Alaska...Installed
Both are Payware from Flight 1 Software

Griffith Island Land Runway...the Lodge and Water Runways are behind the building and trees...


Not sure if these skis raise or lower like they do on most real aircraft so I taxied to the left of the grass strip and used what snow there was...


Sunrise...


Leaving the safety of the island grass strip for a short over water flight...


Over water and not quite within Gliding Distance to a shore as required by Air Regs.
Should have circled the island a time or two...

Hmm... I'm still not satisfied by this quality... there is something wrong, and I guess this is BD Sizer which is being too much aggressive. Your screenshots are obviously suffering from the JPEG compression which is too high.

How big are your original screenshots, Doug ? I'm referring to the BMP files produced by FSX each time you press the V key. Would you mind, if those files are not too heavy, sending ONE of them by email to me please ? I need to see the real picture to judge your settings

No problem, as I deleted these shots I shall do a short flight and send two shots, one original and one done by BD Sizer.
