BN-2 Islander in Distress

I had to take a few skydivers out of Lihue Hawaii (PHLI) to Dillingham Hawaii (PHDH) for a following day airshow.

Now I am dead honest I did plan to take a few snaps and post them here but did not expect FspX to make the flight a living nightmare.

Payware used:

1) Flight 1's master piece BN-2 Islander
2) REX Overdrive Sets
3) Dreamscenery Hawaiin Airport Lihue Full model
4) Megascenery Ohau
5) Aerosoft Dillingham
6) FspX (Never leave home without it)

Lastly using ENB, all settings my default flying settings.

Got out just before the Hawaiin 717 came in for his final approach. Thank you ATC.

Departing East, heading set for 100 climbing for 5000. Wind 10 at 120 and ceiling 2300.

Now in this bird, using a headset, you do not notice a engine failure via the readings but the sound. Picked up right away she is dying.

I tried a restart but to no avail. Limping time. Pax sweating a little.
Image

Dead as she can be, portside engine secured. Hope the other one holds, 45nm out, may as well continue to Dillingham.
Image

A welcome sight, lots of drag. Taking lots of work to keep her steady. I was fully loaded (9 pax) 150kg gear and fuel.
Image

Came in with a sweet 111 f/m touchdown at 80 km/h as per the FspX report. Pax not too p'd off.

BONUS SHOTS:

Working my way to Gold Coast Oz:

I did some testing after installing Dreamscenery Hawaiin Packages, buying the 3 packages provides massive discounts and their scenery rocks! Can you spot the Kite Surfer?

Hope your flights are less risky then mine

Not in Flight1's package. In real life, I've never heard of one.

Thank you for the comments.

No Chuck, no float version for this truly awesome bird

Wow, what are you're REX settings? You're sky and clouds are amazing!

My daytime set is: True Blue (Hence the stunning deep blue effect)

My Cloud set is Cummul 54 and Cirrus 09.

I use only 1024 resolutions, I cannot fly FSX with less then 30FPS.

I always use real world weather, Altimeter was set for 30.15 at take-off, landing was 30.09. So lots of hot air in the area creating some nice distant growing clouds. Bumpy ride along the way but not full blown turbulance.

Water set: Cumbrance. Water resolution set to 512 and 2 X low in FSX.
