Now this is what I call a detailed plane!

Postby Jake Bourdon » Tue Sep 06, 2011 7:12 pm

Hey guys, purchased the Iris C-27J Spartan today, and I must say, it's gorgeous and flies perfectly. Absolute realism, just what you'd expect from Iris :)

Cool shots! After seeing your post I started looking around, and found it for $58 on SimMarket  :o Is it worth that kind of cash?

Looks nice, I don't know if I wanna pay 60 bucks for one though.......... 8-)

Been following the development of this one and it certainly looks like a great one! Very detailed with many great features.

It is a bit pricey, so far the best price I've seen is $47.59 here;

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Hey guys. Like Gtirob01 said, it's availabe at the Flight Sim Store for $47 bucks. I can honestly say, it flies and feels more realistic than the PMDG 737. The way it handles when it turns on the ground, the shock absorber things(sorry, don't know what they're called!), the flight dynamics. Everything is absolutely realistic. It is well worth $47.59 at the Flight Sim Store. I can GUARANTEE you won't be disappointed. Trust me, especially during the day, that's when you get to see all the detail. Oh man oh man is it beautiful! Oh and thanks for all the compliments, I greatly appreciate them as always :) Now if you excuse me, I have a lovely Spartan waiting to be flown ;D 8-)

P.S. - FSPilotshop.com will be selling it for $50.00 I believe, so why not get it for $2.41 less at TheFlightSimStore? ;)

Great shots by the way! As much as I like how it looks, think I will hold out for the F-15E Iris has on the way. Put it this way, the guy that made the Aerosoft F-16, is making the F-15E. So yea.... that is a must buy!

Let's hope IRIS has another sale this Christmas ;) :D 8-)
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
