ORBX

I had some elevation problems and posted asking for help on their forum. Problem is now solved, thanks to their staff. But in looking for and downloading patches, I ended up

getting one that included People Flow. I did not think I would like it because I don't fly tubes and usually stay away from the larger airports. I was wrong. It is very cool to see

people dressed to fit the location walking around and doing things people normally do. This shot shows the old guy sitting on the bench has turned up his wobbly pop. The motion

looked very natural, as do most of the animations. I like it.

Thanks for looking. :)

Yup. But it's all sorted now. I was missing most of the elevations adjustment files and Tim made a zip of them available to me in a pm. I think that my PNW download might be corrupted,

so if I ever have to re-install again, I will download it again first. Also, Holger told me that there is a backup of them in FSX\ORBX\Scripts\Custom.na\OFF so if you ever have any go missing

check there. There should be 169 elevation adjustment files in that folder and also in your Scenery\World\Scenery folder. It will have a total of 236 files, but 169 of them will be the elevation

adjustment files. The Scripts\Custom.na\OFF folder will only have adjustment files. I'm so glad I did not have to do another re-install. Those guys over there are great.

Thanks Doug. :)

There is always that possiblity, but with freeware as well. The main thing with ORBX, is to remember to change FTX Central to the proper region before installing another addon.

If you already have something in North America installed and want to add an airport, you need to change FTX Central to North America. Same thing with Australia addons, except

change Central to AU. But if it is a non ORBX product, change it to Default. And there is an order sequence for installation listed on the ORBX fourms you need to follow. Most, if not

all of my problems, stemmed from my forgetting to change Central before installing something. I now have a note taped to my desk reminding me to do so.

Thanks Larry and I got your message...sent a reply... ;)

Why can't simulated flight be like real flight...?

You just go out...kick the tires and light the fires... ;D

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
