weather that is. I picked a bad day to go flying down under. Real world weather and winds aloft of 30-40 knots. The little Twin Star got blown all over the place.

Leaving Hobart, headed for Launceston.

Updrafts and downdrafts scared me silly.

Great shots Larry......very realistic looking :)
Your shots make this aircraft more intriguing than the shots at Iris :o Makes me wish I would have spent five more dollars ;)

Thanks Chuck. :)
The funny thing is, I did not like it that much at first. But it probably had a lot to do with the jaggies and low FPS I was getting at the time. Now, I love it.

Just yesterday my framerates went South for no apparent reason.........ended up having to un-install and then re-install my video card and drivers :-?
For me, FSX is like my old 4 wheel drive. Sometimes, I spend as much time under the hood trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with it as I do enjoying it when it's working right ;)

You can't hijack a party Truck, only join in. Old 4 wheelers never turn away a kindred spirit. :) Maybe it's not the right section for a discussion of this nature, but I have no  problem with it at all. I like 4WD. Saw a lifted jeep the other day and for a moment thought, "I wouldn't mind having one of those." ;D

Very nice shots Larry...well done... :)

There is something about the looks of that aeroplane that I am not sure about.
I am not sure I like it or not.
It looks fragile to me although it probably is not.

It will have to grow on me like the Republic Seabee, then I bought one... ;D

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Thanks Doug. :)

It's not fragile, as far as I can tell. But it is light and I've never had one tossed around like that by winds aloft. On the other hand, I don't remember 40+ knot winds before either.
