Wow...very nice Larry... :)

That Beaver has a nice livery as well... ;)

Now when I start buying Payware would you agree that Tongass Fjords should be my first pick?

I notice some programs do not work without it.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Thanks Doug. :)

I don't know what programs you mean when you say won't work without Tongass Fjords. I am not aware of such a situation.

As to first pick, it depends on where you think you will fly the most. Orbx FTX Pacific Northwest, Pacific Fjords and their Northern Rocky Mountains (PNW, PFJ, & NRM) cover a large part of Oregon and Washington, some SE

Alaska, some BC, and some western Idaho. And the ground textures and buildings look much like this. I will take the map of PNW, PFJ, & NRM and add in Tongass, which is pretty much seamless with them, and send it to

you. All four would run about $160, so it depends on your budget and where you want to fly the most that dictates which you should buy first. Also, be aware that if you download instead of ordering the disc, it takes quite a

while.

Hi Larry

Thanks for the information.

I think Alaska and British Columbia, Canada would be my first choice.

There is not much scenery for Ontario, Canada where I live as of yet.

Hope this new Microsoft "Flight" addresses some scenery issues... :)

I shall not buy a new machine or payware until I see what Microsoft "Flight" is like.

I would always buy the Payware Disc before downloading... :)

Again thanks for your help... ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Now that you have Tongass, maybe I could suggest CZST - Stewart, British Columbia, Canada.   That is a nifty little strip tucked away in the mountains.  it also has a seaplane base next to it.. CAC9.

as my 3yr old says when he sees a plane fly over the house.... "FLY SAFE!!"

[color=#000000]Thanks Chuck. :)

I have some bad habits, one of which is adding something new before I have really explored what I added last...
or the time before that......et cetera ad infinitum.
