Reaching for new horizons...

Postby pfevrier » Mon Jan 24, 2011 10:58 pm

... with my new telescopes. Here is the Observatory of the Pic du Midi, high up in the French Pyrenees. Thanks to Alro Creation for the observatory, France VFR for the scenery, and Nemeth Bros. for the helicopter.

Cool! :)

I've always wished FSX portrayed the VLA Socorro and Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, or at least some addon scenery. But I have yet to find any.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

The Arecibo observatory would definitely be a cool item to fly over! It would be tough to land in there though lol!
