This thing looks at home anywhere
I bought this plane, in part, because of how much they talked up it's bush flying capabilities.........I can't think of a better place to test out it's STOL ability than here. Most of you know about this scenery but, for those who don't:http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=bear+camp
This scenery is a must have for bush flying enthusiasts
I came in very close to stall speed because history has taught me that runway is fleetingly precious here.
It turns out that reverse prop pitch makes a lot of difference though and, I was a little surprised when I came to an easy comfortable stop.......well short of getting the front tire wet in the water hazard at the end of the runway
After unloading all the cargo....mostly wobblypop and band aids, along with most of my fuel (they said they needed it for their snowmobile?......I'll bet it goes fast), I cut it very close anyway. She did it though. In my opinion.....12.47 well spent
