2 Random Experiences
Posted: Fri Jun 26, 2009 2:09 pmThe first 2 shots are from the ORBx Blue mission. Me and "Jane" went out to meet Koorby for a BBQ. On the way there we did some sight seeing. Saw a Grumman take off in the bay, he came around and flew close to us.
Then saw Matt landing the beaver near Koorby. I landed on the beach.
AU Blue is spectacular.
Some chilly waters those.
The next 2 is 2 shots taken a 2 different angles flying real weather. I did a flight from Adelaide Intl. to Port Lincoln. Was cloudy in Adelaide but as I approached YPLC rain started pouring down with a 6knot crosswind.
I have done a few hours in the DC-3 and the C-46. Felt ready to move on to the C-4. This bird is a handful to fly.
