It seems like Virgin pilots and their A346s are not made to land at Kai Tak *shivers*

Imported from FS9. I love this one. Well, as much as a jet flyer can love a prop. ::)

Going for a swim. In Microsoft Flight Simulator.

"Daddy, the Aviation Administration and ATC was scaring me with bad words because as I was doing some loops around the place and nearly crashing into a Dragonair A330 on final!"

"Don't worry son.. i'll get them. *Fires up Trent 800s*"

First one for me.

The A340 series  is my favorite of the heavies. 8-)

Now try that with an A380.  Still not much fun.  ;D ;D ;)

I agree with you Shane. They're really soothing to the eyes. (A340s)

I'm an A330 guy. I'm really kind of an Airbus fanboy. I like: The A300 moderately, the A310 a lot (looks like a baby A300), the A320 family is cool and nice short to medium-haulers (The A319 is so cool! It's like the ultra long hauler of the A320 family with it's long range.) The A330 is quiet, incredibly reliable (228 passengers dead over nearly 17 years = :O :O :O), ultra-efficient and gorgeous to look at, the A340 is all the same, and the A380.. well, it's not beautiful to look at, but there's something special about the Superjumbo. Quiet, efficient, high standards in passenger comfort and not to mention those barn door size flaps and that huge wing!

(I'm seriously hoping to become an A330 pilot when I grow up.. only hope my bad eyes (Minus 3,75 Right Eye Minus 4,00 Left Eye) doesen't destroy my wish.

Thanks guys!

I don't know if it's allowed for pilots or not, but you could get LASIK. ;)

I had VERY poor eyesight and wore 'coke bottle' glasses until I was 20. Then I got LASIK surgury and I've had 20/20 vision ever since, and I'm turning 33 next month, so I'd highly recommend looking into that at some point after you turn 18.

It wasn't too expensive then, so I'm sure it must be cheaper now, and will be really cheap when you're ready for it. ;)

Yea Shane, i'm considering having LASIK, but I will have to wait for my sight to stabilize. They're not completely stabile yet. I think i've went from minus 1,50 on both to what I have now since I started using glasses when I was six. And now i'm thirteen. ::)
I'm hoping to get it early, so I can get my flying training in the millitary.

Jordan: You don't have to wear them in public? Lucky guy :'(

I choose not to,  they don't fit over my aviators that I wear all the time(see avatar).  I only use them when watching TV or driving
