Thanks Andy...... It sure looks a whole lot better then FSX default. I just flew out from the airport and landed in that little village. I have to do that whenever I'm flying an airplane with those big tundra wheels.

Sounds like exactly what I do every once in a while. I enjoy flying around Alice Springs as well ;) I see you're thouroughly enjoying FTX Red, keep posting your shots of your new adventures 8-)

in my view and i dont want to start anything but its a rock :P

im seeing it in june and i was actually surprised last night when i flew around there and how detailed it is (without FTX) pity about the Sydney harbour bridge

Yea it's just a rock, but it's a big one.  ;)

You are right. It is the same as far as how detailed it is with or without FTX. With FSX default it sticks out like it's out place and doesn't belong there. With FTX it blends in with the natural surroundings. Looks pretty real when compared to actual photos that I've looked at.

and yes, it's just a rock, but I'm a geologist, so a rock is never just a rock.
In this case, it's a sandstone.
