Going to take some time to explore the new OZX. If it is anything like my first couple of flights it will be time well spent!!

You pllanning on flying that Baron all the way from Cunderdin to the Great Barrier Reef?? :D   Nice paint, will have to get that.

Lovely pics, off to check out the second half. Cunderdin's not in 2.2 though, it's freeware from Orbx and needs downloading seperately... right?

Sounds like a great tour,

I recommend FSDiscover! for this if you don't have it already and have some spare cash around, it is an invaluable aid in finding all the OzX airfields with Gwolb's addon files for it.

You can just fly from one to another via a simple 'flight plan', instead of taking off from the nearest airfield, flying old-school style and searching for it, which you have to do for all the non afcaded fields and which makes touring rather tricky, and entertains me only rarely, so I had to fall back on Google Earth and zoomed out map view before I bought FSD.

You can use it as much/little as you like for finding the airfields, but even if you are searching 'properly' it's great to have FSD to fall back on if there's no joy in finding that small stain on the background textures after half an hour of combing the vicinity with mounting frustration.... ;D

Maybe I'm just a lazy bugga....

Cheers
