Waiting for a Continental 737 (skoker) to pass on the taxi to the active as the APU and the engines mist in the cold damp air:

Great shots John!  I believe these are the first screen shots I've ever seen from you. ;)

That first one is definitely the best "VC" shot ever. ;D 8-)

The AES looks great, really brings the environment to life. :)

If it was real, there wouldn't still be all the wires sitting in the glareshield area.

The Aerosoft AES package is worth every penney I spent / spend on it.  The little details that it adds really boost the realism a lot.  The visuals of the marshallers walking along with the plane and signaling position and engine shutoff and such are a nice touch.  As are the fuel trucks, the catering trucks, the cleaning crew, and the air bridge and air stairs and the passenger busses.

It's not just the visuals.  The backround sounds in the cockpit are really nice.  From the cockpit you can just hear the various support vehicles and such in the background when they are servicing the aircraft, you can hear the de-icing spray when you ask them to come do it, and so on.  And the ground crew telling you to release brakes and to start engines and such is also great.  Of course the passengers boarding and de-planing also adds something.

All in all it is a great addition to fs2004.

best,
