Excellent shots, Mic

An excellent example of the use of "VFR Photographic Scenery", from an altitude of 2,000+ Feet AGL, (Above Ground Level)....

...but a dire warning to low and slow Flyers, and anyone wishing to land in the Photographic Scenery will be disappointed!...

...its all very, very....FLAT! and featureless... :'(...!

I purchased the VFR Scenery for England and Wales, but abandoned its use many years ago for that reason!

So, be warned...Horses for Courses!...;)...!

For every day aviation use, I tend to stick to Auto-gen Scenery... :)...!

I purchased the Justflight .... http://www.justflight.com/ ...set of VFR Photography Scenery sets (England and Wales) when they were first released a few years ago...

..lots of fun flying from Hereford, over the Severn Bridge, following the M5 to Exeter, then the A30 to Cornwall, at an altitude of 2,000+ Feet AGL.

...but below that the Scenery was awful!

Bit of fun at the time.....but I haven't used it since!... ::)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...and a spot of Autogen... :)...!

nice shots mic, i do believe someone is working on UK photo real with autogen placements which will be cool.

but their  is a UK VFR project (freeware) where people have made autogen for the photreal scenery some cities have been done such as gloucester and cheltenham, and their is quite a bit in the south of England as well. i will try and find a link.
