Wyndham to Lake Argyle

Continuing touring the delights of FTX/OzX scenery.

After a short 'holiday' in green winter Lilydale (not very green now after the burning apparently) I want to get back to being as close within FS limits to Australia as it is now, so flying in the right season - late summer i.e. now - with real world weather. Seasonal changes probably don't affect this area too much, but the weather is remorselessly cloudless in this part of the world. So boring skies, but the textures are something special... :)

Wyndham is a real gem of an airfield, one of the very few so far released for the Red regions. Shark Bay is on the way, and it looks fabulous...

Lake Argyle airfield or whatever it is called is still pristine default FSX.

Thanks for looking, another set from Wyndham with the same chopper but somewhat different scenery on the way in a day or two.

Cheers

Cheers mate... off to fly now.

Very busy with work at the moment, but I'm trying to get in a little time every night at the moment, after doing endless reams of proofreading. Here are two examples that tickled me from texts I had to correct tonight:

From a scientific text:

Program is based on finite element method and planar beam model. Type element on eccentricity is implemented. The element is based on common theorems between internal forces and strains. The theorems are written for reference not for centroidal axis.

and, the somewhat lengthy title of one wordsmith (or perhaps fartsmith) critic's review of Twelfth Night:

Come and take me Death, for I can Love no More!
In unrestrained shroving and in the role of a fool, there was space for Pardus' nostalgic balancing.

Nice eh?

As I said... Now I'm going flying!!
