A quickie of the Alps in spring..

Postby NickN » Tue Mar 03, 2009 5:30 pm

Someone PM'ed me and asked about mountains. I really want to hold those till just before release because the details in them are going to be 10 fold what was done in USCAN and much of what we did will also UPGRADE the USA as well but here is a quickie....

When you fly through those high passes you will be able to experience everything right down to the bolders, high veg and gravel. Here is a small demo of that detail and note I had to compress the living crap out of this image to get it under 150K

Here is a bit clearer version but I still had to compress it, just not as much  http://www.simforums.com/forums/uploads/20090303_173505_2009-3-3_17-33-.jpg

Now, do note.. that shot does not include our new Europe/Alps rock textures... I'm holding those till just before release
