Pick of the rest
Posted: Sun Mar 01, 2009 5:44 pmI do not fly the P-47 exclusively, every once in a while, another bird takes to the air. These are some of my current favorites:
The P-51 still gets airtime. As a native FSX P-51 is still a thing of the future, I use the FS9 A2A Mustang. Flies really well, just the glass/prop problems...(though you can't really tell in this shot)
The Icarus Gloster Gladiator is fun to fly and has some really nice effects too, just press 'I'.
The Alphasim Liberator is also an old favorite. Great sounds! I just redid the textures of the Missouri Mauler for a museum in Colombia, I can post them if anybody is interested?
It's not all warbirds, the Sibwings Saab Safir is one of the best models around I think, period. Here's the only Australian Safir, near Avalon, the latest from FTX/ORBX.
Here's a new one, the Classics Hangar FW-190, with a staggering amount of skins, and some of the best looking gauges I've ever seen. Me, I really like this paintjob
And this is my latest toy, after all, the 190 needed something to shoot at...
