Loaded these up in 800 wide instead of 1024 so you wouldn't have to use the scroll thingy, since I use a widescreen monitor.  What would you prefer?

Anyways, took the Otter out for a cold spin around Alaska...

And I'm really starting to dislike the REX sun ;D

I think it should have been 900 wide, that is the max size before the scroll appears. And also the size that contest winning shots get resized to.
I really hate it when someone's killer 1024 wide shot gets ripped apart during the resize and gets all jaggie. If it's already that size, then nothing needs done to it. ;)

What 'scroll' are you guys talking about?

Do you see the scroll thingy in your signature? People who don't have wide screen monitors get one of those in order to see anything over a 900wide shot. But it's all the way at the bottom of the pics, so if you post 5 or 6 1024 wide shots, some one with said monitor has to scroll down and then scroll left or right and never gets to see the entire shot in it's true glory.

Ah, I see. I use a widescreen monitor, that's why ;)

Duly noted :)

BTW: A 1024 could be fine on most monitors, if a link was supplied as well (instead of having to go to 'Properties'), when opening in a second window, it shouldn't pose a problem :)

Has anyone ever had a poll in the screen shot forums on persentage of people that need to scroll a 1024 shot. Like first shot of the four most Big Truck.

I don't believe so, it won't matter in about a year anyway,as almost all new systems come with them now.
I wonder if they even make monitors that are not wide screens anymore.

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, a poll for this has been started in the studiov
