Hello yet again fellow classic 747 fans (oh no i hear you all groan ;D) Just a sneaky peeky look at another of my creations, although this time shes heading back to the paintshop fo a little fettling.

Cant seem to get the 'white' right, and some other things are not quite correct- especially the placement of the red stripe( :-/) all white seems a touch harder than it should be and it looks good in some lights but in others it looks like its bare metal, i think my alphas are out slighty ;D

Difficult for somthing that looks so simple, even though the real thing isnt truly symetrical when looking at both sides of the aircraft - somthing ive rarely come across but makes my life a tad harder than it should be :-X

But the 'falling painter' more than makes up for it as you can see on the tail detail ive included for your viewing pleasure ;D

LOL no... :D Just thought 'Todayshorse studios' sounded a bit dense...."Studios d'aujourd'hui de cheval" sounds much more mysterious - even if it is gibberish ;D

well, fs9 maxed out on everything on my rubbish computer with its marvelous GeForce FX5500  :o. The scenery is Flightzone portland, the sky is fsskyworld (which is free), the aircraft -  the CLS 747-200.

Proving you can produce amazing things on a computer not really up to it :D

do you use anything like ground environment? stuff like that? and what do you use for water?

No, never botherd with ground enviroment or anything like that. My water in fs9 is some i found here i think. Ive forgotten its name however. Its like a collection of all the good bits and this bloke put them all together. Im sure its here somewhere!

Ive altered the cfg thing with various scenery related things ive picked up over the years, to make it load faster and 'rise' out of the ground and so on

Im a firm beleiver in only using the very best scenery for screenshots now, fsskyworld always stacks up no matter what the situation, so as long as the aircraft is half good the shot will come together no worries.

My default fs9 scenery stuff, id never post now, its blooming awful! If i havent got the scenery (freeware or payware - but theres loads of good freeware stuff out there!) then i tend to stick to 'in the air' shots with good cloud cover, and let the clouds do the 'scenery' role ;D

So maybe im hiding my computers cabability behind these things - but i cant see any other way to get round that until i get a better computer 8-)

I tried FS Skyworld on my Vista x64 machine and it wouldn't work.. don't know why.. oh well.. it takes too long to get FS9 to look how i want it.. and i just don't have the money for payware scenery such as ground environment right now.. guess it's FSX from here on out (and all the good payware i have on it ;) ) lol
