I thought it was time to try painting something else, so I started on the Alphasim Hudson. I don't know if anyone here is flying that a/c, but I do!
Here's four repaints, two RAF birds and two RAF (Dutch Naval) birds.
I hope you like them?

Image
FK790 MA-R, which disappeared over the Netherlands in the night of the 5/6 july 1944, while on a mission to drop secret agents. The whole story of that night and the subsequent discovery of the wreckage can be found here: http://fk790.tripod.com/In_Memory/

Image
T9432 ZS-B, which disappeared in the evening of 15 april 1941 after returning from escort duty over a convoy in the Atlantic. The wreckage was found two weeks later on a remote Scottish hilltop by a farmer. Amazingly, most of the wreckage is still lying there today! More info on this can be found here: http://szkotland.blogspot.com/2006/0...32-z-1941.html and here: http://www.peakdistrictaircrashes.co.uk/awayt9432.htm

AM939 NO-E "Cheribon", of 320th (Dutch) Sqn, which was shot down near Ameland on 30 may 1942. The entire crew survived and the pilot, Heije Schaper, went on to become commander of the Dutch Air Forces after the war.

Image
T9364 NO-F "Ypenburg" , also of the 320th Sqn, which crashed on 25 february 1942 during take-off, killing all aboard expect for the pilot, who was thrown clear. More information (in Dutch) can be found here: http://home.planet.nl/~posth144/Posthum ... erdijk.htm

:o Not until now! I'm going to the Dayton Airforce Museum this weekend, and they have the B-24 "Strawberry Bitch", would you like some multiple angle shots? Or any other plane for that matter. I'm going to take a couple of digital cameras with me and try my hand at some real photography. Maybe some of what I've learned from doing screenshots will help me out, I hope. :-/  ;)

Here's two more::

Image
NZ2035 SJ-F of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, which is currently on display in the Ferrymead Museum, New Zealand

Image
VH-KOY, formerly A16-112, the only Hudson still flying. It is with the Temora Aviation Museum, NSW, Australia and is flying in the colors of A16-211 "the Tojo Busters".

I hope you like them, all comments are appreciated. I painted these based on few photographs I found on the internet, so if somebody who has seen the real aircraft spots any mistakes, please tell me so..
