Aerosoft F-16

Postby Mobius » Wed Oct 22, 2008 7:01 pm

This is, without a doubt, the greatest payware aircraft I have seen or purchased so far...

Amazingly detailed exterior model, with different, accurate loadouts...
Image

AMAZING cockpit with almost all systems that can be modeled in FSX, modeled, as well as a fantastically accurate HUD (that actually works like it should - see how it's partially visible in the screenshot due to the view not being straight-on)...
Image

Accurate and awesome G-effects...
Image

Superb afterburner and lighting...
Image

I have to recommend this completely, and at only $33.79 (30 euros), it's a steal...

Also, sorry for saying "awesome" and "amazing" so many times, but it was necessary. ;)

Website says it requires a 2.66 Core 2 Duo/Equivalent AMD.

How well will it run, with minimized settings, on a 2.2GHz AMD Single core? Any guesses? All other specs on the system meet the recommended (2GB Ram, 512MB DDR2 graphics card).

I have no idea, but the developers (and I agree) said you get ~20% fewer FPS than with the Acceleration F/A-18, which dropped me from ~40 FPS to ~35 FPS, so there wasn't a huge performance hit.
