This week I'm getting my vintage VFR jollies in New Zealand, so a couple of threads of the Tiger Moth in Kiwiland shall follow.

Enjoying touch and gos at this fine airfield along the side of the runway, getting a feel for the handling.

This plane seems to have more realistic flight behaviour than the Avia I've been flying... but I suppose it should, being payware. It also has trim (unlike the Avia), which makes it rather easier to fly. No brakes though. Getting her up to FSX default Lukla at 10 000ft was a real struggle - we were below runway level on final approach and I just got her over the edge... and then she wouldn't stop  ;D

No probs down here at sea level though... what a nice old bird.
