Another Liberator

Here's another Liberator, this time of the 380th Bomb Group, that trained the Australians (see previous post) to use the Lib, and flew missions from Oz and later the Phillipines. This particular aircraft "Angel in de sky", flew 106 missions, but ran out of fuel on the last one. The crew jumped, but the aircraft crashed.
I hope you like the paintjob, and the shots too.

Superb, as ever! Does this have a decent paintkit? I quite like the privateer that comes with this, if its the WOP liberator. I recall building a model of it as a kid, dont think ive ever seen a privateer on here!

No, this is the alphasim B-24, in FSX. It does come with a decent paintkit, albeit with a few quirky things and a few errors, but I found that as long as I stay with bare metal, things are fine.

to prove my point, here's another aircraft of the 380th:

Here's another from the same squadron (528th BS), I love their nose art...

This one's called Carrot Top, after the pilot's wife I'm told, who apparently had red hair...

This plane has charm... though I'm not a big fan of AlphaSim aircraft after buying two from them...
