'Lil Toot'

Lil Toot indeed. This was the name given to the 737 prototype - although it later became 'fat albert 2' or somthing. And heres the tinmouse 737 - in another repaint by yours truly. Interesting aircraft though this is indeed. Its the 737th 737! Which is proclaimed on the flanks of the aircraft.
Orion Airways may not be known to many on here, they were a charter airline from the 80's but were swallowed up by brittania sometime in the late 1980's early 1990's. Also on a flight to tenerife as a kid, it was with this airline that i got to sit with the pilots in the cockpit for close on 2 hours outbound from gatwick aboard a 737-200adv. On a 4 hour flight thats not bad! The captain gave me a packet of ready salted crisps.
It was at this point that i decided come what may i was going to be a pilot. Thats till the RAF discoverd i was slightly colour blind, just like my father. Thanks dad!
Anyway, enjoy some nostalgia..

Many thanks for looking 8-)
