This is alpha's Russian Payware, Named the LUN Ekranoplan

My friend and i had a comparison, between the LUN and the Goose
(sorry for the bad pic, i had to crop, resize, and tweak it for it to fit)

Actually, it flys quite nice at about 50 feet above the water, and maxes out at 400kias

2nd largest ekranoplan ever built... the KM class is even larger with 10 engines and a V-tail (thats the one hidden in the FSX mission with the learjet)

it was designed a as troop transport that would be unseen by radar because it flew so low.

Wouldnt it be picked up by the radars and sonars that are mounted on destroyers?

It's the type of craft built to utilize "Ground/Air Effect", which is what keeps it flying. Most of them were meant for troop transport, but some of them were armed to the teeth.

Yeh it would be picked up by ships radar and subs but the theory was to keep it under shore based radar.

I believe the intention was to basically to use them as part of a flanking of the enemy in an area where they may not be patrolling.
