...begun the cloud wars have.
First shots with the new FEX high definition public beta clouds, also from new FTX freeware 1.2, flying in Tasmania from Port George to Launceston.
Having left Port George we hung a left out over the sea to gain height and get a bit closer to the clouds in question...
Bonus ubiquitous 'cloud wars' style shot...

Hi Roger
Nice looking shots. Just a suggestion, but it what be nice if you would post the FEX cloud and sky themes that you are using. I've also got the latest FEX update. I haven't tried the added cloud sets yet, but they look pretty impressive. When I start posting I will do the same.

Thanks! No major impact with the clouds, no, everything seemed pretty much normal. There are softer varieties too, but the harder edge ones are something 'new' so I tried a hard set out first. They look very dramatic and often really look like real clouds, but on the other hand the more clearly defined they are the more you can tell when they're upside down :) I didn't notice too much repetition though, first impression - they've done a fine job.
Bob, not sure what the theme was, I'll try to remember to look tonight.
Cheers

Cheers :)
