Hey Bob!

What panel are you using for that... FSX does not run the FS98 gauges

I know someone who would prbably like to have that in their hangar but it would need gauges that work

Hi Nick

No gages that work, but it seems to fly OK in FSX. Also there is no wake in either FSX or FS2004. Also the sound don't work in FSX. I was able to fix that part of it. I'm hoping somebody will modify it to work fully in FSX. That's why I posted the pics. I download it from here on SimV. I wish I could also find a P5M Marlin in the Navy Blue livery for FSX. I used to fly in those old Marlins when I was in the Navy.

FS2004/2002 Martin SP-5B Marlin. This was a twin engined piston powered flying boat entering service in 1951 and serving into late 1960s in service with the United States Navy for naval patrol. It also served in the U.S. Coast Guard and with the French Navy. 285 were produced overall. The Marlin was designed as a gull-winged aircraft to lift the engines and propellers high above the spray. Phil Taylor likes the boats and has been looking for a P5-M like his father flew in the navy..

Yea, I downloaded it.. it needs work but the model/animation works just fine. The panel just needs to be rebuilt in Panel Studio with current gauges.. engines need a bit of work and the flight dynamics seem a bit off but nothing that can not be fixed

The contact points are off too and need to be adjusted so the bow effect and spray show up right and also assign the right effects.

Its just needs someone to show it some FSX love..

I will forward this thread to Phil and see if he may be interested. Phil had an appointment to Annapolis and turned it down...(lucky for us  ;D)  but his father flew those Marlins in the Navy just like yourself
